Speedo’s newest bodysuit could be banned!

A revolutionary bodysuit that British swimmers hope will help them power to medals at the Beijing Olympics could be banned. The skintight Speedo LZR Racer costume, which was developed with help from NASA scientists, has been worn in 16 world record-breaking swims in just six weeks since its launch, and now swimmers are clamoring to try it. But the sport’s governing body is worried that, because it apparently helps swimmers go faster, wearing it could constitute cheating.

Speedo sponsors the British team and Caitlin McClatchey (22), who won two gold medals at the 2006 Commonwealth Games, is one of Britain’s brightest hopes and has already tried the costume. She said:

“I just dived in and it felt like I was gliding for ever. It was really effortless through the water.”

The LZR Racer, which Speedo spent £2million developing, works like an old-fashioned corset, squeezing a swimmer’s body into the sleekest shape possible. It is coated in water-resistant Teflon and welded together ultrasonically, meaning it has no noticeable seams.

The town of Blackpool, England banned the legendary rockers in 1964 after one of their concerts ended in a riot. porn-loving recluse banned from using computer!

Is that even possible?? I mean, the guy could just sneak a lil computer time when he isn’t monitored right? Hehe! Anyway, here’s the lowdown — a man described as a “computer recluse” who downloaded more than 26,000 porn images has been banned from using computers. Jeremy Neil Young, 22, who led a life of social isolation, has been told to build relationships. Young pleaded guilty in Feilding District Court to 13 charges – three of distributing objectionable images and 10 of possessing them. The judge said, “It’s clear to me your computer skills and ability far exceed your relationship and social skills.”

When Internal Affairs staff raided his home in Feilding in February last year, they found more than 1600 objectionable images on his computer and nine disks holding 25,000 images accrued over three years. Judge Gregory Ross said Young’s parents had no clue what he was doing. He used the computer from a room outside the house. The judge sentenced him to six months’ community detention with a curfew, and nine months’ intensive supervision. He banned him from using a computer, and ordered him to live inside the family home.
