Maxi Mounds’ breast augmentation procedure banned!

Yup, that’s Maxi Mounds above! Huge b00bs huh?? It’s size 36MMM my dears and each of her breasts weighs 20 pounds! And guess what?? They are still growing!! Thanks to the controversial “polypropylene string” treatment that created them which is now banned in Britain and United States.

So how does the string works? It apparently irritates the breast, causing the release of body fluids that inflate the area still further. The procedure – which was only really popular among adult entertainers and sex workers – has since been banned due to concerns about its safety. Maxi Mounds shares,

“I’ve seen some pretty funny things happen. Men walking into things and getting slapped by their girlfriends because they were staring too hard.”

Sharon Stone banned in China!

And why is someone as beautiful as her be banned?? Coz Sharon Stone recently said that China’s recent earthquake was ‘karma’ for its treatment of Tibetans. Wahaha! And for that, the 50-year old actress was not on the guest list for the Shanghai Film Festival in China. Sharon Stone has since apologised for the comments she made during an interview at the Cannes Film Festival. But Shanghai’s organisers have decided not to invite her to the event. Chinese are tough dude! Apology is not sufficient, tsk!

The banning of Sharon Stone was already confirmed by the festival spokeswoman Tang Bing. The Basic Instinct star went to last year’s festival as the image ambassador for the French cosmetic giant Christian Dior, which has since pulled her ads in China. Sharon’s rep did not return a call for comment.

ASA bans William Hill’s online bingo ad!

The reason? The ad was ’socially irresponsible’ — what the?? Here’s what William Hill’s commercial shows: a woman waiting eagerly for her husband to leave the house in the morning so she can sneak off to play online bingo. She is so keen to get online that she turns forward the hands of the clock to make him leave the house sooner. LOL! Is that being socially irresponsible?? I think it’s funny! =)

Unfortunately, several complaints were made about the ad, stating that the character was obviously addicted to online gambling and was deceiving her partner about her bingo activities. Gambling adverts in UK must stick to strict guidelines in which the gambling activity must not appeal to children or be seen to improve one’s life or status.

William Hill countered that their ad was merely a humorous look at a common situation, where a housewife can’t wait for her husband to go to work, so she can get on with her day. However the ASA claimed that the ad promotes gambling in a socially irresponsible way that could lead to emotional or financial harm. The slogan, “I get mine the minute he’s left” implied a rather desperate urge to gamble.

London’s Tube bans liquor onboard

But the day before the ban was enforced, a drinking spree ensued in the Tube! And you thought Londoners are uptight?? Think again! Hehe! =) According to reports, police were kept busy as people using London’s Tube took advantage of the last night that drinking alcohol was allowed in the underground train network. Revellers held rowdy parties inside train carriages late Saturday in a city that has gained a reputation for reckless binge drinking — and now the new mayor’s attempts to curb public rowdiness. Police responded to reports of vandalism by closing six stations and arresting 17 people.

Six assaults were reported on staff members and police said intoxicated revellers damaged several trains. YIKES! Many partygoers wore elaborate costumes, including some men who dressed up as beer bottles to enjoy a final drink before the ban went into effect at midnight on all of London’s public transit systems. At Monument station, a group of men wore platinum-blond wigs and business suits as they dressed up as Mayor Boris Johnson, who vowed during his election campaign to tackle anti-social behaviour. You go Mayor! =)

soup banned for being too fresh!

What the?? And as you might have guessed, this stupid banning happened in UK again. Sheesh! According to reports, school entrepreneurs who won a competition with their home-made soup have been told to hand back their prize – because their ingredients were “too fresh”! In the latest example of health and safety madness, pupils of Penwortham Priory Sports and Technology College in Preston, Lancs, were disqualified because their dish did not have a three-month shelf life.

Goodness! I really don’t get it! The judges would rather have a food full of bad preservatives just that it will have a long shelf-life?? o_O The students were also accused of breaking rules by growing their herbs, using organic veg and touching the ingredients. The school’s head teacher Jim Hourigan is refusing to hand back the trophies after winning the final. He described the ruling by organisers Young Enterprise UK as “absurd”. SO RIGHT!
